Ice Cream Cake

Iced Biscuits Cake

  1. Last week we decided to visit  my aunts , so i  find it a good idea for preparing a nice cake.
i went to super market and I bought the stuff that I need for making the cake. I bought biscuit, ice cream, milk, sugar, cream caramel and Cream. I start mixing the content and that take about 10minutes. when I finish mixing I put the content on the fridge for like10 minuets. My aunts and the whole family was very surprised that i made that cake. Her i will show you the all steps that I did.

3-  Biscuit fingers(Kit Kat).
4- Nutella.

 How to prepare:

1- Mixing milk, nutella, cake and cream .
2- put the biscuit fingers around the cake.
3- put nutella chocolate over the cake.
4- put m & m chocolate over the cake.
5- put the cake in fridge for 30 minutes.

Everybody Loves Cake and this kind of cake is light and quick to prepare .



Ingredients:

1- Two cups of   flour.
2-  one  cup of sugar.
3-  3 eggs.
4- 3 cups of oil .
5- 3 cups of chocolate powder.
6- yogurt.
7-  baking powder.


 How to prepare:

1-  Mix eggs with oil, sugar and yogurt.   3- put all ingredients on the oven for40 minutes.4- put chocolate over the cake.

Khaliat al Nahal

This kind of sweets very famous and loved by young and old. It is consider as a famous kind of cake that is making in  Ramadan.  It is name refer to it is shape that looks like house of bees



 Ingredients:

1- 3½ cup of flour  .
2- 1 cup of milk.
3-  ½ cup of powder milk.
4- a cup of water.
5- 3 egg .
6- sugar .
7- oil.
8- melted butter.
9-  instant yeast. 
10- salt .
11- cheese Kiri.

 How to prepare:

Put the flour, then add milk powder, sugar, yeast and salt. Then add the oil and butter and the egg, and mix them together. Now add all the milk. Start kneading them together and gradually add the water a little at a time. You might not need it all, so add it sparingly until your dough is nice and soft. Knead for a good 8-10 minutes. The more you knead it the softer the buns will be. Touch a bit of oil with your fingertips and apply all over the ball of dough. Cover in a bowl and set aside for 40 minutes to an hour for it to double in size. Punch it down, and break off tiny bits of dough. You should get about 40 tiny pieces out of this. Take each piece of dough, and stretch it out with your fingers, then add a small piece of cheese in its center. Bring the edges together and form a ball so that the cheese is completely enclosed within the dough. Repeat this with all the dough. Cup at  oven to 180 C and bake for about 20-25 minutes,  and golden top.

2-  knead ingredients together.
3- put the kneading like a disk.
4- put the kneading on the hot oil.

Basbousa


Basbousa

Basbousa is a semolina cake popular in the Middle East as well as the countries along the Eastern Mediterranean shores. The cake itself is not too sweet but it is soaked with a sugar syrup scented with rose water.
It is very easy to prepare and the best thing we like about it is that you can make it ahead and serve it as a no-fuss dessert. We prefer to prepare the batter a day ahead then bake it just before the guests arrive. This ensures that we get the smell of freshly baked basbousa filling the house. Do this if your guests will be staying for a few hours as the basbousa needs to cool down before removing from the baking pan.


Ingredients:

1- 1½ cups coarse semolina.
2- ½ cup fine semolina.
3-  ⅔ cup sugar.
4- Baking powder.
5-  Dessicated coconut (shredded).
6-  2 Large Eggs.
7- ⅔ cup unsalted butter.
8- 1 cup yogurt.
9- Vanilla.

 How to prepare:
  1. Step 1: Preparing the Cake
    1. Mix together the semolina, flour, coconut, sugar & baking powder.
    2. Melt the butter
    3. Beat the egg
    4. Add the milk, egg, melted butter and almond extract to the dry mixture and mix until combined and smooth.
    5. Prepare an 8x11 pan. Generously butter the pan.
    6. Transfer the mixture into the baking pan.
    7. Using a sharp knife, cut the Basbousa into diamond shapes.
    8. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
    9. Bake for 30-40 minutes or until golden brown.
    10. Retrace the cuts made prior to baking with a knife.
  2. Step 2: Making the Syrup
    1. Bring to boiling point the water, sugar & lemon juice.
    2. Once the syrup reaches boiling point, reduce the heat to medium-low and let it simmer for 5-6 minutes.
    3. After thickening the syrup a little bit by simmering it, add the rose water and let the syrup simmer again for another 1-2 minutes.
    4. Transfer the syrup into a measuring jug and let it cool down.
  3. Step 3: Soaking the Cake with Syrup
    1. Pour the syrup on the Basbousa and decorate with shredded coconut.

3-  3 eggs.
4- vanilla .
5- 1 cup of milk.

1- Mixing Ingredients .
2- Keep the mixture in a bowl of oven dish.
3- Put soft white sugar on the biscuits.

Sweet Dumplings (Luqaimat)




Luqaimat is a Middle Eastern dish and a part of heritage.That's why in every Omani festival you will see its stall.I have seen so many times that an Arabic woman sitting with a deep frying pan and frying them. .So i finally decided to learn them and cook them for my own.The syrup they use is something like prune sauce which is a little heavy taste for me so i altered the syrup with normal sugar syrup.


Ingredients:

For dough

1- 1/2 cup all purpose flour.
2- 1/2 tbsp corn flour.
3- 1/2 tbsp yogurt.
4- 1/2 tsp yeast.
5- 1/4 tsp sugar.
6- Pinch of sasame seeds (optional).
7- warm water.
For syrup
1- 1/2 cup sugar
2- 1/2 cup water
3- 2-3 cardamom


 How to prepare:

  •  First of all mix all the ingredients of dough except water.
  • Then add water little by little and make a pouring consistency paste.
  • Avoid the lumps by slapping the mixture.By doing this air will incorporate inside and the dumpling will be fluffy and will soak less oil.
  • Place this mixture in warm place for 2-3 hours or until it doubles in size.
  • Meanwhile prepare the sugar syrup by adding sugar, water and cardamom pods in pot.
    • Mix the sugar syrup with dumplings.
    • Sprinkle some sesame seeds and serve hot.
    • Boil until the bubble start forming on surface.
    • When the dough is ready deep fry them by pouring small portion by hand.
    • Fry until golden brown and spread over paper towel.
